As Parents who have experienced divorce and single parenthood, it was hard when there was no means of transportation due to mechanical breakdowns, no vehicle or a financial burden. It put us in a place where we either had to walk or catch a ride with family or friends. The village also stepped in where they could to assist with transportation for children afterschool.

Once transportation was steady and safe we had the opportunity to turn a burden for other Parents into passion and helped with transportation needs for them as well as their children in our community. This is how Alift Up Inc. was birthed.
